OUR VISION
Paez Law is an immigration law boutique in New York City providing legal representation and counsel on U.S. immigration and naturalization laws to individuals, families, and businesses throughout the United States and abroad in a wide range of immigration matters, including marriage-based cases, family petitions, citizenship, removal defense before the Immigration Court, asylum applications, and other immigration benefits before USCIS and DHS.
Paez Law was founded by Luis Enrique Díaz Páez, an immigrant, native Spanish speaker, licensed immigration attorney in the United States and attorney licensed in the Republic of Colombia, and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. This binational and multicultural background provides a firsthand understanding of the legal, emotional, and professional complexities that frequently accompany the immigration process.
Luis Enrique earned his Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law of the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and previously obtained his law degree from Universidad Libre of Colombia. He also completed postgraduate studies in Informatics Law and New Technologies at Universidad Externado of Colombia and the Complutense University of Madrid.
As a Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) certified by the City of New York, Paez Law contributes to the strengthening of diverse communities through inclusive and accessible legal services in both English and Spanish, as well as through educational initiatives and community outreach activities directed toward immigrant populations.
Unlike high-volume law firm models (Big Law), Paez Law operates as a legal boutique, allowing it to provide personalized attention, direct communication, and a high-quality strategic and compassionate approach tailored to the particular circumstances of each client.
Paez Law practice is limited to Immigration and Naturalization Law in all 50 States and Territories pursuant to 8 USC 1292.1.

Luis Enrique Díaz Páez was born in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia.
Luis is a dual licensed immigration attorney in the United States and also in the Republic of Colombia.
He attended School of Law at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, United States (American Bar Association Law School) where he received his Juris Doctor Degree. He also has a Law and Political Sciences Degree from the School of Law at the Libre University of Colombia and postgraduate education in Legal Informatics and New Technologies from Externado University (Colombia) and Complutense University of Madrid (Spain).
As an immigrant, a native Spanish speaker, and Immigration Attorney, he is sensitive and passionate about helping the immigrant population in the United States. Luis is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the LGBT Bar Association of New York (LeGaL).

ANDERSON BONILLA-BERNAL
Office Manager
Anderson was born in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia.
He joined Paez Law as Office Manager after 21 years of experience as a public official for the Colombian government where he acquired extensive experience in assisting people in situation of vulnerability and crisis, and developed his empathy, leadership and conflict resolution skills.
His studies in Analysis and Development of Communication Systems, along with his excellent communication, social and human skills, have managed to boost the growth and expansion of Paez Law.
Anderson's human qualities allow Paez Law's clients to feel safe, confident, receive dignified treatment, a prompt and timely response to all their concerns, creating an easy communication channel between the lawyer and the client in an agile, confidential and friendly manner.
Anderson has the same strict ethical standards that characterize Paez Law, assuring the confidentiality of its clients as well as the truthfulness and honesty of those who communicate with Paez Law to protect the integrity and excellent reputation of the firm.
Olga Lucía León was born in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia.
She brings extensive professional experience in the financial sector, where she developed strong skills in client service, administrative operations, process management, and interpersonal communication.
Olga currently serves as Paez Law's Client Engagement Specialist, playing a key role in client relations and in strengthening the practice's visibility and community presence.
Her experience in customer service, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and empathetic approach allow her to provide respectful, confidential, and attentive support to individuals who entrust Paez Law with their immigration matters.
Olga is committed to ensuring that every client receives clear information, timely assistance, and a positive experience throughout their relationship with the practice. Through her work, she helps uphold the commitment to excellence and personalized service that defines Paez Law.
